New AdamEveCash Live !
On June 1st we launched the newest version of AdamEveCash with many more features available to help our webmaster affilaites earn more with your Adam & Eve links. Our new program offers the ability to created self-named marketing campaigns (eliminating the need for multiple affiliate accounts), a quicker way to link to ANY product in the Adam & Eve online catalog, and improved statistics, including information on your most productive AdamEveCash banners.

We are still in the process of importing sales data for May into the site from the old system, and will have those stats online shortly.

Check Your Links
The first thing you should do is check that all your banner links to Adam & Eve are linking correctly. All your current links should work fine, as long as the link points to adameve.com (plus the extensions after that, which drill down to a specific product or offer.) You can easily re-place your links at any time by visiting the Promotional Tools area of the site.

Link to Any Product on Adam & Eve
We've added a new tool that makes it much easier to build a link to any product that Adam & Eve sells online. By visiting our Promotional Tools area, you can paste the URL for any product page into our tool, and generate the linking code to sell that product on your site.

See What Banners Are Working For You
We now have promotional tracking for all banners you put on your sites. We track the popularity of banners by sales (rather than clicks) so as you get more sales, you'll be able to see your most popular banners. When you first log in to AdamEveCash, you'll see the Quick Banner List on the lower left. This list shows the most popular promotional banners for ALL affiliates. As you roll over a banner name, a copy of the banner will pop up onscreen. If you'd like to quickly get the linking code for that banner, click on the banner name in the list, and you'll get a pop-up window with the linking code for that banner, already populated with your affiliate ID. Just copy/paste directly into your page. You can click on any of those banner names and get a pop-up with the linking text to add the banner to your homepage - already populated with your affiliate ID - no changes or edits needed.

Once you go into your Stats area, you have the option of adding Banner Performance to your sales reports. On this report you see the performance on the banners used in your own affiliate links. Your stats report shows both clicks and sales.

Track Promotions in Your Account.
New! The ability to set up and track different promotions in your account, without using multiple affiliate accounts! You can add promotional campaign IDs to your account on the Your Affiliate Information page. You have a choice of up to 26 unique promotional IDs (A through Z.) Using Campaigns, you can track different promotional activities in your affiliate account without setting up new affiliate IDs (and earing the minimum for payment in each account.)

Sell More - Earn More
Our program now rewards our most effective affiliates by raising your commissions automatically as your sales increase. We want to reward our affiliates who send larger amounts of sales, and greater traffic to our sites. Our system monitors your commission level, and once your sales pass pre-established levels, your account will automatically adjust to the next highest commission rate, and remain there as long as you sustain that level of sales. (This feature is not available to affiliates who have a contracted commission rate set.) To see the new commission level thresholds for your account, go to the Your Affiliate Information page. You'll see your available commission levels.

Daily Commission Summary
We now send a daily single email summary of your commissions rather than individual emails for each sale as it's posted. This keeps your in-box clear of too many emails, and gives you more concise reporting for all the activity on your account. We are running the same twice-daily synch between the e-commerce store and the affiliate program as always, and posting sales after they have shipped from the warehouse. You can opt in/opt out of the daily summary emails at any time by visiting the Your Account Information page. The opt in/opt out button is at the bottom of the page.

Your Sales History Online
We are still in the process of importing all your sales history with our program. Sales from April, 2004 and earlier will be available as gross sales only. We are in the process of importing the May sales data now, and should have this information online shortly. From May, 2004 going forward, we will post order-level detail on your commissions.

Built for the Future
The new AdamEveCash was built to include service to all sites in the Adam & Eve family. We are now able to build promotional commission structures for our e-commerce stores as well as entertainment sites, and run affiliate specials down to the product level on our sites. Look for many new promotions coming soon!

Coming up this month will be promotions for AdamEveVOD.com - our pay-per-view video streaming site. We're building special links into the site to promote streaming movies. Also, more banners going into AdamEveGold.com - our new entertainment site. Finally, we'll be welcoming VideoGold.com to our selection of sites. VideoGold is a monthly membership club for customers interested in high-line feature videos. And our affiliates earn commissions every time the customers make a purchase! We will be announcing more about all these sites later this month.

Change to Affiliate Terms and Conditions
Beginning on June 2, 2004 we are instituting a change to the affiliate commission structure. This change is now outlined in the terms and conditions. New customer signup rewards are now paid at $1 per new customer, if the customer signs up and makes a purchase within 30 days.

We're still closing the final feature set for the affiliate store (which will be launched at Internext in Florida) but this is the #1 feature that our affiliates have been waiting for:

With the new custom store, you'll be able to build a version of the AdamEve.com site that fits your website both graphically and by content category mix. You'll be able to select a color scheme to fit your store (rather than being stuck with 1 or 2 stale looking templates, as other affiliate programs do) and you'll be able to use your own logo on the store, or use a default Adam & Eve image.

You will also be able to pick a variety of merchandise selections from the FULL online catalog of thousands of adult products, or a "category" store like all-video or all sex-toys. New Feature Tutorial: Grabbing Banner Links Did you know that you have a quick and simple way to "pick up" banner links as you travel through the AdamEveCash site? You've probably noticed that as you move your cursor over the names in the banner lists on the site, that the banner will appear in a pop-up. If you click on the banner name (it looks like a hyperlink), you'll be presented another window with the html for that banner. All you have to do is copy/paste the link onto your site, and you're done! There's even a section in that window that allows you to add the banner to a particular campaign. Using this quick-pick, you can add banners from the Bestseller list to your site, without navigating to the Promotional Tools area.


Meet Us at Internext
Once again this year, AdamEveCash will be at the Internext webmaster trade show, August 13-15 in Hollywood, Florida. If you only attend one webmaster event each year, this is a great one to go to because of the location - Internext books the entire Westin Diplomat Resort, so it's three days on the ocean with a hotel full of adult webmasters! The first item on the page is your mailing list subscriptions. To add a new mailing list, click on the Add A Category icon on the line next to "Assigned Category." When the page refreshes you'll get a drop-down box of categories that you're not already subscribed to. Click the one you want, and click on the Save icon next to it. IMPORTANT: when you click on the Apply Changes button at the bottom of the page, your account changes are saved. If you don't click on the Apply Changes button, no changes on the page will be saved to your account.

Update Your Links
It's important that you keep your affiliate links current by updating to the new AdamEveCash banner and text links. By using the new Adam & Eve product links, you'll be using the newest banner graphics, and you'll be able to track your sales by banner promotion!

Please check all your links to ensure you have the newest links coming into Adam & Eve. We will continue to support the old-style affiliate links (built prior to June 1 of this year) through December, 2004, but after that, your banners may go dark. Update your banners to the New AdamEveCash links today.

If you remember the old days of copying and pasting and inserting your affiliate ID in the XXXX's (acutallly, aren't there STILL some tired-old affiliate programs that make you to that?!) we threw that out the window and developed a new and much easier way to quickly build a promotional link to any item we sell online. (Note: this will work for items we sell, but will not work for links to the Adam & Eve Forums, as they don't trace affiliate-generated traffic.) It's as easy as 1-2-3 to build a selling link to one of our products. Let's use the #1 selling item this week [ahem] 1 Night in Paris, starring Paris Hilton: Open a second browser session and go to the adameve.com site. There, you'll navigate to the item that you want to sell (either by search, or by the homepage links. For this to work you need to be at the product-level page. For our lesson, it's this page Copy the URL for that page (in the address bar in your browser) and, on the adamevecash site, go to the Promotional Tools area, and click on the Product Links item in the lefthand menu. On the Product Links page, paste your copied URL from above into the encoding line for Build A Single Item Link, and press the Go button. When the page refreshes, you have the link code ready to paste into your pages, with your affiliate ID already in place.

June Commissions Posted
For affiliates receiving commssion checks this month:

We posted June commissions on July 1 and are processing sales now. Your commissions will show as being in process on our new affiliates stats reports until the commission checks are processed by the Adam & Eve accounting system. This is our first month running the affiliate commission payments on our in-house accounting system, and we're targeting getting affiliate commission checks to you 10 days sooner than with our previous system.

One change from our previous system is that we are no longer consolidating multiple affiliate accounts into a single check, so if you earn commissions on more than one affiliate account, you will receive multiple checks. AdamMale.com affiliates will also be paid on separate checks for commissions earned.

With the new Campaign Tracking feature on AdamEveCash, it's no longer necessary to track your sales by using multiple affiliate accounts. If you are sending traffic through more than one AdamEveCash affiliate account, you can streamline your payments by moving all your traffic to a single affiliate account and using multiple campaigns. (To set up campaigns within your account, log in to AdamEveCash and go to the Your Affiliate Information page. You can add your campaigns there - up to 26 campaigns per account.) If you have multiple AdamEveCash affiliate accounts and would like to consolidate, contact us at affiliate@adameve.com and we can move your unpaid commissions to a single account and close out affiliate accounts you are no longer using.
